Join the masquerade mask hunts to support our partners, hang out with fellow book lovers and ask any questions you have about the event. Discounts from our partners, A Bookish Affair ticket discounts and a special prize will be given away at each event. Those who attend all 3 will be entered to receive a complimentary pair of VIP tickets.
A day with the squirrels
Our first of 3 complimentary pre-party events. 5 masquerade masks will be hidden in the shops of 3 of our partners in Oakmont. Find them all to enter your name for a special giveaway. Discounts from our partners are available and a QR code for discounted admission to A Bookish Affair will be provided to those who attend. Whiskey and Words
Our second complimentarty pre-party event. Be on the lookout for 5 masks hidden throughout the distillery as you sample and tour the barrel house. Find them all to enter your name for a special giveaway at the end of the event. By the S-word
The third and final complimentary pre-party event takes place at Pittsburgh Sword Fighters fencing salle. Learn some basic sword cuts and then paint with a sword using those same cuts. Find the 5 masks on the grounds where A Bookish Affair will be held, and maybe get a sneak peak at some props and decorations. Attendees who find all five will be entered for a special prize given away at the event’s end.
